Why it's hard to ask for help

Asking for help shouldn’t feel so hard - but for moms, it often does. When you're exhausted and overwhelmed, figuring out how to ask for help is just another task added to an already full plate.

Mom guilt

Too often, we feel like we have to carry every burden ourselves to prove we’re good moms, but the truth is, no one is meant to do it all. Asking for help isn’t about failing; it’s about creating space for yourself to breathe, recharge, and thrive.

Mental load of motherhood

The mental load of motherhood is a full-time job, and new moms are often expected to handle it all. With all these responsibilities, self care often gets pushed to the bottom. When that happens, her mental health and well being suffer.

What moms are saying

As a mom I struggle with asking for help because I don't want to burden people. However, I know that people actually do want to help (because I want to help my mom friends too!), but it's hard to know what would be helpful.

What a great idea. It's an app that helps moms ask for specific help from their support systems. For their loved ones, it shows what they can do to best support a new mom.

I love this app. It's such an amazing idea and it's going to help so many moms.
